The Nursery
Each day at Playworks Early Days Nursery is different and carefully planned!
Activities such as sand and water play, role play, messy play, music and movement and garden time are on offer througout the session. We have a wide range of equipment and toys and ask for input from the children when purchasing new resources.
We follow the Foundation Phase Framework and Birth to Three Matters. We record all childrens development and share this information with parents and carers during our Parents Evenings. At Playworks Early Days Nursery we have an open door policy and update parents and carers on their childs progress on a regular basis. To record this information we use individual development packs, each child also has a scrapbook where we add pieces of their work with a detailed summary of what they did.
By doing this when your child finishes at Playworks Early Days, you will have a book filled with their lovely work showing their development from the time they started until they finished. A lovely keepsake.
Videos and pictures of activities are shared with parensts/carers and family members through their childs SeeSaw account.

Settling in Sessions
When your child joins us, you will be introduced to his/her key worker in one of the following rooms.
The Keyworker will build a special relationship, take prime responsibility and will understand your childs individual needs. You will most likely find that the Keyworker becomes your childs best friend!
Your childs Keyworker will let you know at the end of the day what activities your child has been involved in, what progress they have made and what fun they have had during the day.
We offer care that meets the needs of children of different ages and have lots of fun as we grow and learn at Playworks Early Days Nursery.
